New milestones

Danny has been doing a lot of new things the past couple of weeks. He can pull himself up and a lot of times when I go to get him from a nap, he will be standing in his crib.

Now that he can stand well, he spends A LOT of time on his feet.

For some reason, he really likes to crawl underneath his exersaucer. This happens multiple times everyday.

He has also started to cruise along the furniture. You can see his progression in the pictures below as he moves along the couch to his exersaucer.

Here are some of the other things he's been doing:

  • Drinking from a cup (as long as it doesn't have a lid--he refuses to drink out of anything with a lid)
  • Feeds himself finger foods
  • A lot of babbling...dadadada, mamamama, nananana, babababa, etc.
  • He makes a gripping motion with his hands (almost looks like he is trying to milk a cow) when he is excited about something or when he sees something that he wants
  • His favorite toy is his ball. He crawls to it, it rolls away, he crawls to it again, over and over.
  • He's been extremely interested in doors. He likes to open and close the door over and over again.
  • Changing his diaper is like trying to wrestle an alligator. He just won't sit still and tries to flip over to his tummy mid-change.
  • He LOVES our animals. I would say they provide at least 25% of his entertainment.
