Trip to DC

I spent the last week in Washington DC attending my yearly Human Genetics meeting. We spent the last day on a whirlwind tour of some of our national landmarks.
This is the closest I got to the capital. But at least I can prove I was there!
By the Washington Monument.
The Hope Diamond--worth 250 million dollars.
Looking at the Washington Monument from the WWII memorial.
Lincoln Memorial

Vietnam Memorial

The Whitehouse.
This is a real dinosaur skeleton, in the position that they found it in.
This was one of the sculptures at the National Gallery of Art. I liked it because it looked different from every angle.
