The yearly family picture in front of the Christmas tree.
Danny tearing into his first present. He loved opening them up!
With his cool new car (that plays music!) from great grandma Johnston.
Steven and Nate have a war of gag gifts, so every year we can expect that one of them will open something weird. This year, Steven wrapped up a hot dog for Nate. Shortly after, Nate sneaked away, rewrapped it and put the hot dog back in the mix, this time labeled for Steven.
My grandma was in Des Moines for Christmas this year. First time in many years! We really enjoyed having her around, even though it was way too cold for her.
Playing with his train set from Uncle Steven.
Danny opening his stocking. He got the cutest book called Little Blue Truck. I don't even know how many times we have read it today.
Loving his animal crackers from Santa.
Danny was all tuckered out after his visit to grandma and grandpa's house. He fell asleep on the trip home while reading a book. :) Poor buddy is also cutting more teeth right now.

We also got the Little Blue Truck book for Eli's birthday- we LOVE it! I thought it would be a great one for the Goods! Glad you all had a great Christmas!
