Brooks has already been with us for half of a year--can you believe it? And to top it off, he cut his first tooth, we just noticed it this morning! He is getting more and more interactive every day. He gets around by rolling wherever he wants to go and is starting to want to stand on our laps a lot. There are times that he will stiffen up in a standing position and refuse to sit down. He still doesn't nap much; usually his longest nap is in the morning and lasts an hour at most. He will usually take two more naps throughout the day that are less than 30 minutes each. When he's awake, he's very happy and laid back unless he's hungry, then his temper comes out a little. :) He has started "talking" a lot...to us, Danny, Daisy, his toys, or whoever will listen. When he gets excited about something, his little legs start kicking away. We have slowly been introducing new foods to him and so far he has eaten rice cereal, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, squash, prunes, carrots, peas, and bananas. Strangely, he doesn't seem to care much for prunes or bananas, but will eat up all of his vegetables without complaining.
